We start with a thorough site evaluation: measuring the area, checking grades, noting sun, shade, and traffic patterns, and locating utilities. Old sod or synthetic turf is removed using the appropriate tools (sod cutters, turf lift, or excavation as needed), with green waste and infill responsibly hauled and recycled or disposed of. Dust and debris are contained to protect surrounding spaces.
Next, we correct the subgrade. For live turf, we amend soil with compost and nutrients, regrade to improve drainage, and level the surface. For synthetic turf, we install a geotextile weed barrier and a compacted crushed rock base (often Class II), achieving proper slope, stability, and edge restraint for a lasting, wrinkle-free finish.
Installation is precise: sod is staggered and rolled for root-to-soil contact; hydroseed or seed blends are selected for climate and use; synthetic turf seams are joined with premium tape and adhesive, then topped with the correct infill (silica sand or TPE) and power-broomed. We tune irrigation, program smart controllers, perform a final walkthrough, and provide a customized care plan.
