We plan swales and French drains, specify underlayment and depth for footpaths and patios, and select angular aggregates for traction. Pre-emergent herbicide options further suppress weeds.

Maintenance is straightforward: occasional raking, leaf blowing on low speed, and top-ups every 2–3 years to refresh color and depth. Treat stains promptly; use pet-friendly rinses where needed. With proper depth and edging, displacement is minimal and long-term costs beat annual mulch replacements.
